Unlocking The Future: Understanding e-SIM Technology
e-SIM, or embedded Subscriber Identity Module, is a digital SIM card integrated directly into a device, such as a smartphone or tablet, by the manufacturer. Unlike traditional SIM cards, which are physical cards that need to be inserted and removed from the device, e-SiMs are built into the hardware of the device and can be activated and programmed remotely by the network provider.
